Great pair of artists who work collaboratively on a piece at the same time, stroke after stroke, really cool stuff. Love the simplicity in their works.
Everyday after primary school I would head back to my best friend James' house to stare in awe at a wall cover from top to bottom in National Geographic photography. It was my first encounter of the epic magazine. I check the website most days to see the new photography on show. Thought i'd just show a few images that have recently caught my eye:
These are a few videos dedicated to the work of the RNLI working on Tower Lifeboat Pier who have saved 15 lives from the Thames this year already. The project was to research an aspect of London that we found interesting, for me this was Waterloo Police Pier. A tiny pier by Waterloo Bridge which was once the first police station on water in the world and is now owned by the RNLI after purchasing it for one pound (later donated back by the police). Here I explore the fact that today this pier is saving so many lives, those that would have been lost if the RNLI did not exist.
I have never done a single piece of work without relating myself back to this legendary master. I bloody love him. These are a few images from an exhibition of his in the Lisson Gallery, London.
